How does a hernia repair affect pregnancy

I want to have a baby in a year or so. I have a huge incisional hernia that I want to get repaired ASAP, but before getting a TT. I'm not done losing yet (I hope)! How does having a hernia or having had a hernia repair affect pregnancy, if at all?
