Has anyone had their surgery, even with a Creatinine level above 3.0?

I am wondering if anyone else out there has had high creatinine levels, above 3.0 and still had their surgeries? If so, what sort of tests did your surgeon have you do prior to surgery? I know that all surgeons are different, but I am looking for examples of different tests that might be asked to be done. I am worried that I will not be able to get my surgery done, because my surgeon thinks that my kidney's would quit functioning or something during surgery. So, if anyone with any related problems could please respond, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. (((Hugs to all)))
