Does hair loss occur when weight loss picks up again?

I am 8 months post op and have lost 147 lbs. I had hair loss months 3-6. Then it stopped. My weight loss slowed down too. I think it may be starting to pick up again, but I am not sure, but my hair is starting to fall out again. Does this happen when I am not getting enough protein, or when weight loss picks up again, or both?? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
