How can I get in water? Im 10 days post op

I only have a problem with water before surgery I was a big water drinker and now I can take a sip and it makes my stomach feel so full. I actually stufed I am waiting at least 30 minutes after eating to drink but still have this problem I tried drinking 1st thing in th morning and that doesn't help either........ Please I need advice
