Could this be gas pains?

I am about 6 weeks post-op. I have generalized pain that seems to be about 3 inches under my breasts and sometimes even goes all around, even to my back. It's an achy, sickly feeling. It goes away when I lay on my left side. It isn't constant, but it happens often enough and long enough to be a concern. I have already had the "VQ" test for bloodclots and it was negative (thank the Deity) so I know it isn't that. I just wondered if anyone else has this type of pain and what helps it.
