Has anyone had that newer surgery with the adjustable band?

I saw it on the news, and I would be able to get it done through a local surgeon (and possibly have an easier time getting it paid for since he's in my HMO network) and I was wondering how it has worked out for others. It seems far less dramatic than any of the other surguries (rny, ds, or vbg). I'm concerned with keeping the weigh off though, or is that something that can be fixed with the adjustable part of the band? (I'm in my early 20's and bmi of 45)
