Could my cycle be messed up due to Pre-op stress?

I am rarely late, and I know I am not pregnant, due to me being infertile. I am a little over a week late and no period at all. I have surgery April 3 and have tried to not obsess over the time ticking away and keeping busy, I was wondering if my period could be messed up because of the psychological stress I am under? I want to have it and get it done with.
