strange sounds when drinking???

I have been having trouble getting in enough water. I was never a real thirsty person before surgery. Now sometimes it is a bit uncomfortable. Sometimes my throat, esophagus or stomach makes these strange growling noises. I dont exactly know where it is coming from or what it is. Sounds kind of like burps, but not a regular burp. I have tried different drinks and different temperatures. I just dont know why or what it is. Has anyone else had this? I was just curious. I am 5 weeks out from surgery, but have had not problems but with drinking. Thanks for all the help I have gotten here.
