Is it natural to have the feeling that something is going to spoil your surgery date?

I have my surgery date of 10/18/00. I had most of my pre-op testing done last week then I had to have a nuclear stress test done because I have heart disease. I finished that today, then I get a call from my primary doctor asking me to have a chest cat scan because she saw a density in the chest x-ray. She said it was probably just something from my heart surgery I had in 1996, but now I worry that something will go wrong with the cat scan or the stress test and I won't be able to have wls surgery. I have no symptons of anything wrong and I didn't have any problems with the stress test, but I keep feeling like something is going to go wrong before surgery.
