Can I travel by plane even though still have open wound ?

I had open RNY on July 30th 2002, I had an infection so I still have a small hole in my stomach, size of a quarter, I change the dressing on it twice per day, wash it out with peroxide and saline. I want to go to Florida to visit my son in school, can I travel with an open wound?
