One week post op and having very loose BM's...Normal??

I'm one week post op and am having very, very, loose BM. Also lots of gas. The BM's are like 2 or 3 times a day. I'm thinking this is because all I am consuming is clear liquids...just wondering it this is completley normal. Thank you for your help...Erin
