Anyone had a doctor that required NO bowel prep prior to sugery?

When I called today to set up my pre-op blood work etc.. I was told that I could come in as late as the evening before my surgery.I asked if there were any special prep and was told NO. I do not want to get there on Wednesday and be told I will have to be postponed. I do not have another M.D. appt. and my surgery is in 28 days...
