I have terrible pain in the right side of my back (top/bottom) has anyone had this?

The surgeon said it was probably just gas. It hurts so bad. I used gas x and drink hot broth! HELP!! I am 2 weeks post op and have not had one complication yet. If you have any suggestions please tell me! Thanks ~Diane~
