When you running or marathon training, what does your typical diet consist of?

This question is for those post-ops that run on a regular basis and have completed marathons, what does your diet consist of? I enjoy running and want to train for a 5k or 10k, and I need to eat better. The books that I have read say that runners need to concetrate more on carbs and less on protein, where we as post-op still need to supplement with protein, I just need some guidence as to what your typical menu is, what do you have for breakfast?, lunch etc... and have you been able to maintain your weight or have you lost more weight than you wanted?... If you wish, feel free to email me privately. Thanks..Stacey Arthur
