What is going on, I drank a lot of water and didn't go to the bathroom?????

I went back to work monday 3 weeks after surgery I drank at least 60 oz of water or more I did not go pee a single time in the 8and half hours I was at work.. I went pee at 6 am when I got up and than again around 8:30 pm after I was home and they same thing happened today , but today I had a problem drinking any water it felt like it was going to come back up, so I drank sugar free Tang all day at work that seem to wprk but still did not go pee, has anyone had this problem????? am I retaining water ??????? should I be very worried ????????????
