does anyone have Kaiser Permanente that has been approved for surgery?

I'm 28/f w/Kaiser ins my BMI is 38.677 I suffer from chronic back pain they say I have degenerative disk disease, has anyone that has Kaiser been approved for surgery with a simular BMI? I have seen my PCP and I believe he has sent in a report it's been 2 weeks. I would love to hear from you. Thank you
