Question:
Anyone with Tricare have any luck getting approval for reconstructive surgery?

I have Tricare Prime and am in need of an arm lift. That is where my biggest loose skin problem is. I could probably also use a breast lift and tummy tuck. Has anyone gotten tricare to cover any of these procedures and if so, how?? Thanks.    — Melissa L. (posted on May 7, 2002)

I have been denied by Tricare. My doctor suggested the arms, thighs, breast, and tummy. They denied all of it. I am in the process of appeals. Let me know if you or anyone else has any luck! Thanks.
