Oh How Awesome!!! I had a similar experience just a few days ago when my cat decided he wanted to visit the great outdoors! lol! I had to chase him all around the neighborhood, and I realized as I carried him home, that I hadn't even broken a sweat even though I had been out there for two hours! LOL! Ain't life grand!!!

I hope you guys know how lucky you are. I'm a year post op and still have no energy. (138 pounds lost and I still feel like I've been run over by a truck). You guys are lucky. ;)

Congrats!! Rebe!!! Isn't wonderful to among the living?? I felt so dead before my surgery, I could hardly play with my kids without feeling like my chest and heart were going to explode. I'll be 10 months post op on the 30th and down 160 lbs with 35-40 to go. I work out now at Curves, and so far, this being my first week, I've made it each day through the whole routine and I feel great afterward! I have a bounce in my step, and I'm always smiling. I can't say enough about WLS, and how it has given me back my life. I hope you have many more triumphs with WLS!!

Okay, here's my experience ... a few weeks ago, I had a job interview to go to. When I got to the building, the receptionist told me it was up the stairs -- all five flights of them. It was an old building built in the 1700s and had no elevator. I jogged up these five flights without breaking a sweat. I wasn't even breathing hard when I arrived at my interview. Yipppeeeee!! Didn't get the job, but that's another story!

Way to go, Rebe! I am finally able to cook dinner AND do all the dishes without my back breaking. What a great feeling these milestones are! Congrats to you.
