Question:
I need HELP please........

I am pre-op and have a hernia, I was told they will fix it during my wls, the problem is that it's getting bigger and is getting more painful as the days go by. I would rather not have more than one surgery for this. I'm just not sure how long I can hold on. Any one that has had this situation please let me know what you did. Any suggestions would be great. Try wearing a tight girdle or a band for a while. It will at least control the protrusion. If that doesn't work, call your doctor. How long do you have to wait for your surgery?

I HAD A VERY LARGE HIATAL HERNIA WHICH CAUSED ME CONSIDERABLE DISCOMFORT BUT IT WAS REPAIRED WHEN I HAD MY WLS ON NOVEMBER 18, 2002. MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBED NEXIUM AND COMPOSINE WHICH HELD ME OVER UNTIL SURGERY. GOOD LUCK!!
