Question:
gastro dr. visit 1/2 complete

wanting to know if anyone completed consult with surgeon and the surgeon said they DID NOT have to see a gastro dr. i went to the gastro dr. 2/10 and he said i would have to have an endoscopy(sp?) my consult is 2/14 with surgeon and not sure if i should schedule the endoscopy yet. the gastro said nothing was wrong its just procedure.    — Maureen A. My surgeon asked if I had ever had one before and when I said, no, he said I would have to have one. I guess if you have had one recently, you probably would not have to have another if it was within acceptable time limits.

i was not required to see a gastroenterologist nor have an endoscopy. remember-all wls surgeons have their own requirements & routines.
