Question:
I have looked in the library and there is plenty under abdominal pain...

for months now I have had off and on abdominal and back pain.. now for the last week straight it has been non stop and it is not just a simple belly ache. I am in severe pain! I 15 months post op. I still have my gall bladder but they did check that and said it looks normal. Also I am 5 & 1/2 months pregnant. I called my surgeon, after messing around with my OB for too long , and i have an appt next week. Does anyone know , can they even do a scope or anything while i'm pregnant? I need some relief from this pain. its really scaring me, I know its not normal and I sure dont want to be stuck with it for another 4 months of pregnancy! My Ob seems to think its gas, ITS NOT! I know something isnt right, and it sounds like others have had this same pain. Any input would be greatful!    — Summersect (posted on June 6, 2003)
