Question:
I was wondering if it is

possible to still have gallstones after a abdominal sonagram has been done. I had a abdominal sonagram done. I was told it came back normal. I though I had gallstones. For the past few months I have been occassionally having pains on the right side of my abdomen, radiating pain in my back, nauseated sometimes ( I even vomited a couple times two week ago) I have no idea of what it can be since all my preee-op test came back normal.    — Just P (posted on June 18, 2003)

My mom had all the 'classic' symptoms of a gallbladder full of stones. She had ultrasound several times. Finally the dr. took it out. It was full of what he called sludge. So, I guess sometimes stones don't actually form but you can have all the AWFUL (been there done that) pain. Mona
