Have anyone tried Nitrotech whey protein drinks from GNC
I'm tired of buying nasty tasting protein drinks, please help me out on ready made drinks that taste good, sort of like a milkshake. — Debbie J. (posted on July 22, 2003)

If you can tolerate fruit .... I take MetRx Vanilla with plain water and
1/2 cup frozen fruit unsweetened. Blend on high. My favorite is with
mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries). It is thick like
a milkshake and tastes GREAT. I buy MetRx at my grocery store. GNC might
have it.

I like Isopure Zero carb vanilla, I use flavored sf drinks to change the
taste, sometimes I use sf tang (orange julius), sf
Koolaid(grape,cherry,punch) right know I love V-8 splash diet berry, so
when I get tired of one flavor I just buy another so I don't have protein
wasting, or sick of the flavor. I think the secret to good protein drinks
is tons of ice, I pour the drink over ice, some people use a blender, I use
a wand type blender before pouring over the ice so it is very smooth a
regular blender made it frothy. Email me if you would be interested in

I have found an awesome protein powder. It's called Apple Ectasy Nectar.
It tastes just like an Apple Jolly Rancher with no after taste, no
grittyness and 23 g of protein per scoop, no carbs. I think Vitalady.com
has samples you can purchase of all different kinds of protein powders but
out of the about 50 protein powders I've tried, this is by far the best!!

Check vitalady.com or wls-success.com for samples of different things. I
agree the Apple Nectar was great but watch out for the foamy part when you
mix it (had a funky taste and made me vomit). But a great price and great
taste! Personally I use Proscore 100 with 4 oz 1% milk and 4 oz water mixed
in a shaker. This way I know I am getting a small amount of calcium every
day.

Hi Debbie- yes, my DH & I use Nitrotech daily- use to mix, good
consistency, better than most taste. We also add flavorings to it with
sugar free Atkins syrups and syrups we've gotten from VitaLady. Remember,

comes in vanilla and chocolate.
