Question:
Anyone 5'4
I am now nine months out and down about 150 pounds, just curious to see how others my height are doing. I feel that my weight loss is so slow right now and feel like it may be stopping. I still have like 40 to go and hope I get there! — Patricia F. (posted on July 24, 2003)

I am 12+ months out and am down 182 pounds. I think your loss is right on
schedule...JR (open RNY 07/17/02 ht. 5'4" pre-op weight 427, current
weight 245)

I,m 5'3" Surgery wt. 230 I have losed 107 Lb. I,m 14 months post-op
and still loseing. You are doing great you will keep loseing just not as
fasted till about 18 months

I'm 5'3" and started out at 282. Open RNY on 9/12/02, down 127 lbs. to
125lbs (8 pounds below goal), size 6. I think you are right on track -
keep up the good work!!!!

I am 5'3" and I will hit my 6 month mark on August 12th and so far I
have lost 91. I started at 287. The past month I have really slowed down
plus I am starting to have my hair fall out now also. I forget how much I
had lost at 11 weeks but you are welcome to check my stats :) Isn't it
great to finally have REAL hope??? I love it!!!

I'm 5'4" and starting weight was 250. I will be 6 months post op on
August 11/03. I have loss -81 pounds and 62 inches.
When the weight slows down I can tell that inches are still coming off.
Protein/drink and exercise! Watch carbs~~~~~ Good Luck!

I am also 5'4" and started out at 241. I'll be 6 months out on Monday
the 28th and I've lost 60 lbs. I lost 12 before surgery for a total of 72.
I'm just now started to really exercise though so we'll see if it helps
any!!

You are doing great!! I am 5'4, am 1 year post op and have lost 164. You
are right on target.

I went to your profile page to see what your starting weight was but there
is'nt much info there. I am 5'3 & 1/2.
And I weighed 319. I lost alot of weight one month pre op so my officlal
weight was 305 but I count my loss from the highest weight! At six months I
lost 108 lbs. At one year I lost 137 lbs. At 18 months lost 150.75 lbs. At
2 years I lost 155 (which meant I got down to 164 lbs). My weight at anyone
time ranges usually from 162-164. But will go up to 169 if I miss my fluid
pills a couple days. I did manage to get down to 158.75 for a day... but
that was a fluke. I'm still in the over weight BMI range. Seems I'm still
doomed to be over weight. :(

Hi, I'm 5'4". I'm 2 years out. I started at 282, my lowest was 127,
and I'm currently at 137 and struggling. I hope to get back to 134 soon.

It was great reading these responses from other 5'4" folks. I am only
four months out and still have 200 to lose from the 414 I started out.

5'3" start wieght of 250. My surg date was 2/11/03. So far I have lost
104lbs. please feel free to check out my profile...pics are outdated by
about 20lbs..but they are a good illustration.
