Question:
Does anyone know where I can order sublingual multiple vitamins?

I am awaiting approval from the insurance company and am looking into vitamins and minerals.I found liquid calicium, sublingual B12,chewable vitamin C, and liquid iron.I am now looking for multiple vitamins that melt under your tongue.I want to be prepared and I do not want anything to keep me from taking my vitamins!!    — natalie J. Well, I'm certainly not the end-all authority on vitamins, but I've never heard of sublingual multivitamins. I would think that a number of the vitamins and minerals in a multi would not be optimally absorbed under the tongue, but I really don't know. There are chewables, liquids, and pills for sure. The chewables work great for me--portable, high in all the needed vitamins, and they don't taste bad. I suppose an Internet search engine would return any sites that sell sublingual multivits, if such a thing exists. Just go to your favorite engine and type in sublingual+vitamins.

You can get a prenatal chewable called natachew with a prescription, but it does not have any listing of all the vits it contains. I use Centrum chewable, it is s/f and orange flavor. You can get a liquid multivit, but they alot of times do not include much iron. But I do not think they make a sublingual.

People usually do fine with chewables. I use Centrum Rugrats chewables but you can use any kind. They are all the same unless they are a specialized on like a women's vitamin. I've just stayed with the chewables since they are easy and because of the huge calcium citrate with vitamin D's that I take. <p>Just curious why your surgeon requires extra vitamin C. I haven't heard of that one before. Just make sure your liquid calcium is citrate as that is absorbed best. Be forewarned I have heard that it can be rather nasty tasting but then again that might be one particular brand. I have been swallowing all of my pills since I went home from the hospital. However, I did use the Citracal coated tablets without the vitamin D for the first 3-4 months because they were smaller.

There are new vits called Drinkables. They sell them @ Pathmark and I'm sure other places. Read about them @ http://www.drinkables.com

Try www.Drugstore.com They have a variety and you can also use your GNC card through them. If you haven't got one they also sell them there too.
