Question:
Which Federal Employee Insurance in OKLAHOMA pays for plastics surgery?

I know I have asked this question before, but never specifically stated in the state of OKLAHOMA. I currently have mailhandlers. Has anyone with mailhandlers, APWU, GEHA, or any other federal insurance besides BLUE CROSS (they won't issue a pre-approval) been covered for reconstructive surgery. Open enrollment will be over soon and I would like to change insurance then. PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!!!    — akrecord (posted on November 23, 2003)

I know that Mailhandlers will pay for the surgery as long as you are at least 100 pouunds over weight or 100% over your expected weight. 2 of us at my work have had them pay for it with no problems and no appeals what so ever. I also know that BCBS told me that if I had their insurance I would have to have the surgery and then they would decide what to pay for. That is crazy. Any other questions please email me. GOODLUCK!
