Question:
Have anyone w/my stats of 5'7 348lbs get to goal

I have lost 70lbs since my surgery 6/18/03... With Gods help, & i truly feel blessed. But i was wondering has anyone with similar stats as mine reach their goal? I know that i couldve not done this by myself w/out the surgery so 70lbs is a lot to me. I am glad that i am loosing slowly, i just want to hear some success stories from people w/my stats i love you all...thanks for takin the time to post. The goal i am tryin to get to is 160-165, size 10 jeans. Am i being unrealistic? Please Help??? I watch my food intake, take my vitamins, exercise, 80 plus grams of protein, & drink water all day. 348/283 (*_*)    — Nicky-28 (posted on December 4, 2003)

Maybe we were twins. I started at around 342 at 5'7. I am currently around 147 (size 6 - size 9). I mostly wear size 8s. I just had to put size 6 down because I bought a pair of sixes yesterday and they fit really good (not even tight). Anyways, I just wanted to show you that you can make your goal. I didn't work nearly as hard as you seem to be working and my lose was good. Best of luck to you! Sincerely, Mary Beth

I am 5'7 and started at 353lbs. Sept. 25th the day of my surgery I was exactly 348 so I have lost 6olbs in 10 weeks, I certainly hope it is possible to be a somewhat normal size, you all encourage me so much!

Hi there... I weighed 372 and I'm 5'6" -- I weigh about 167 or so now... I consider myself at goal, although I wouldn't mind getting to 160. I'm sort of wearing 12s ..though not all of them. I'm still a little swollen from tummy tuck. Good luck!

NT... I'd say it's very doable... My surgery was the same date as yours, and I started out at 5'6" and 390lbs, now weighing 273 and I have less than 100lbs to go to my personal goal of 175lbs. I know now that the six month "window" is nearly closed it'll start coming off a bit more slowly and that's okay with me too. I'm just going to keep trying! YOU CAN DO IT!! God bless & best wishes!! Hi there. I weighed in at 326lbs before my surgery 1 year ago and today am closing in on my goal, which is 150. It is within your grasp. It wont happen in 6 months, it'll take time but if you follow your doctors advice, retrain your brain in regards to your eating patterns and reteach yourself to understand your body, you'll see your goal and enjoy your life more because of it. Dont hover over the scale and try to get outside more and more. You'll notice yourself become more active and your insight on things will become brighter. Take care and much luck to you.
