Question:
inner thigh lift

I'm having an inner thigh lift in 8 weeks. The incisions will only be in the crease of my thigh and will circle about halfway around the top of each leg in that crease - not down the inner thigh. For all of those post-ops who've had this procedure done, did you wear a specific post-op garment?? All help is appreciated!!    — Patty H. (posted on March 25, 2004)

I am interested in this information as well. I, too, am having an inner thigh lift with the incision in the crease of my groin. I understand that the incision will be quite small and not seen at all. I am having circle TT and BL at the same time. I've been trying to figure out the garment situation because the ones the PS sells are very expensive. I also want one without sleeves as it will be summer in Texas when I'm wearing it. Thanks and good luck to all!

i had this done 2 weeks ago. your doctor should give you a compression garment before you leave the hospital. the incisions really aren't "in" the crease. they are just outside the crease of your legs right outside of where your underwear would be. because it is there wearing pants doesn't hurt.

I had this done a little over three weeks ago and have some weird incisions, yes they are in the 'crease' so to speak, but there is also one under each cheek outside the panty line. I have what the nurse referred to as a 'dart' which I see is a lump of skin that was incised on both sides and should probably be lopped off at my next appointmnent. I can wear bikini briefs and full panties (prefer the briefs!) I wear a compression garment each and every day faithfully and will continue wearing it until he says not to (6 weeks) but I probably will wear it under the cute little dresses I've found myself buying! Best of luck... Jen RNY 11/12/2002 TT with medial(inner) thigh lift 3/2/2004
