Question:
Does anyone have a menu that they would like to share for post-op diets?

I am 6 weeks out and am allowed to try all food. I would love to follow a menu if it is available. My dietician just gave me foods and portions that are allowed but I am not that creative. For you older post-ops, I would love to share your creativity. Thank you for sharing.    — Sharon2004 (posted on April 4, 2004)

Sharon, I'll bet you'd like this Yahoo group: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/WLSPost-OpDailyEatingForum/ - it's a forum for any WLS post-op where you can post your menus or go back and read other's menus. The list owner asks that all who post state what surgery they had, when, that sort of thing in the signature block. It's a very friendly group. Hope that helps! Blessings, dina

I am 2.6 years out, and have lost 140 and here are a few typical days for me: I know this is a lot of info and you will see that I have a problem with protien bars (I will often substitute them for a meal, since I really don't think of food so much any more. Hope this will help.
