Question:
Medcost PPO and Plastic surgery is it covered?

Congrats on the weightloss! I am looking into reconstructive surgery also, and I started reading comments on the plastic surgeon board and then chose the one I like. I scheduled my appointment and make sure they were particaping in my insurance plan, then I went to my pcp and got a letter of medical necessity, be sure they list all the reasons this is medically necessary, ie back problems rashes... and then write your own letter to the insurance why you must have this surgery. Be sure to make copies of all paperwork, take pictures to send to your insurance co also so they can see. Good luck, and check out the plastic surgery messsage board lotsof good info there too.
