Hi, I have tried the Met-Rx protein in chocolate and personally I didn't care for the taste at all. I tried it all different ways and it didn't agree with me. I drink "ultra Pure Protein" by Worldwide. 35 grahms of protein per can. this is a pre-mixed drink that I get at GNC. 1 serving per can. It is a little expensive though. I know at GNC it is 2.69 per can but, if you have a Vitamin Shoppe in your area it is about a dollar less. the flavors come in ice cream vanilla, chocolate, straberry and cappuccino. I happen to think the capppuccino and the chocolate are the best. you can also go to Michelle Curan's web-site. vitalady.com. she sells this along with other proteins that you might like on her site. the best part is that she sells samples of everything as well so that you dont have to buy a whole container of something and than waste it. Hope this helps and good luck to you.

I have been using DESIGNER PROTEIN from GNC, it does seem to be gritty or chalky and it comes in choc., van., and strawberry. I use it with skim milk and I think it tastes good........

I don't like protein drinks either. I have been eating Nextra crunchy protein snacks. They have 17gms of protein,140 calories, carbs 14, 2 grams sugar. You can buy them at 7-11 stores for $1.29 each. I like the apple cinnamon the best. They also have bbq, nacho, ranch, and honey nut flavors. I try to eat at least one pack per day. You can order by calling 1-800-GOT-NEXT. Good luck. Lou ann

Hi Met Rx is the only protein I like! (so far). I have tried designer protein (chalky), Ultra Pure Protein (yucky except cappacino(sp)), Nextra... just didn't care for it (don't know exactly). I have used the Met Rx liquid protein, the proteinplus bars and one other Met Rx supplement (square shaped) and loved them all. Everyone's tastes differ and I keep trying new proteins to see if I like them. I just spent $20 on a new protein that I don't especially like from my local healthfood store. I have also ordered some samples from Michelle Curran at vitalady.com and can't wait to taste them. Just remember to keep trying for one you like. Good luck Tammy

I'd like to make one comment about protein bars. It was explained to me to be careful using bars for your minimum protein daily because it is not pre-digested as the shakes/drinks are. I only use bars in emergencies or for extra protein but try to never use them as my minimum needed daily. I use Designer Protein (choc). I also like to mix it with sugar free hot chocolate and drink it warm. WARNING!! It can only be heated a very short time so it will not cause the protein/vitamins to break down. I have posted before about it. Good Luck!!

I am not a fan of the protein drinks either. I mix the designer protein with my sugar free pudding.I can't tell it is in there. I use 1 1/2 cups of skim milk. It is think and good.
