Question:
Which procedure has the greatest mortality rate or risk of associated death?

Since viewing this site over the last several months, it appears that the 2-3 post-surgical deaths were after the duodenal switch procedure. I am scheduled for the Lap RNY, please give me your viewpoints or helpful & factual links regarding my question.    — Tonya K. (posted on May 17, 2000)
