Dr. Vaughn in Jupiter, Florida. Is anyone familiar with him, any recommendations?

Absolutely!! He is wonderful. He did my surgery on March 7, 2001. My insurance approved Dr. Yasarabi in Jacksonville Fl. doing the surgery, but I would have had to wait about 8 months, and he only did the open RNY procedure. I decided to pay for the procedure myself and wanted the LAP RNY. In the course of my investigation, I found Dr. Vaughan in Jupiter, contacted him, and the rest is in my profile. Good luck to you.

I received a video and packet from Dr.Vaughn's office. He appears to be riding the Carnie Wilson story all the way to the bank. She's in the video and they pose for pictures together. It seems he gained his bariatric experience in Japan, performing the procedure on military people. I find that wierd also because military people should not be 100 pounds overweight.I hear he charges 4000.00 extra for lap.He also included the name of a finance company in case a loan was needed. I was fortunate to find 4 surgeons who do only laps unless a problem arises. There is no extra charge.Order his packet and decide for yourself.

If you haven't had this done yet try Dr Jawad in Ocala. He does lap or open and is a wonderful person and doctor.
