I had my TT on April 29th and I was scared to death. I am not going to lie to you it did hurt, but that is what pain killers are for. You will need a couple of weeks of in bed. I had my rny lap and was shopping in the mall five days after surgery, after this one it took me a good three weeks. Now, it is just a distant memory and the reward it a rock solid flat tummy that looks great in a bikini! I never in my life thought I would wear a bikini after 4 kids and being MO for so long. Would I do it again? YES< YES< YES!!!! If you would like to see before and after pics shoot me an email and I will send them to you. They are a little graphic so I don't post them on my profile.

I had my panni on the 8th of July and I didnt take any pain killers. The pain from my open rny was alot worse... I honestly didnt have any pain, the worst was the tightness of the skin as it healed. Now once in a while I have a pain if I over do it. I think it is neet how everytime I look in a mirror now I can find something different about my stomach. My plastic surgion told me he was going to give me the abs of a 16 year old girl, I looked at him and said this ought to be interesting because I never had abs at 16 it has always been fat rolls as far back as I could remember!!! Good luck, dont be scared. Just think how great things will be with out the excess skin... You will feel like a goddess, I promise!!!

The easiest surgery I had done. I was able to walk standing up right the next day. Didn't really need that many painkillers because there was very little pain.

As with any surgery, everybody is different due to pain tolerance. I had minimal pain for mine but I also had very little muscle tightening due to the fact that Ihavent had kids. A friend of mine had hers done a week later by the same Dr. and she said itwas worse than the WLS. She had ALOT of tightening done. So, it does vary. I was also more scared this time around probably because I knew what pain was now! Would I do it again? YES!! Email me at [email protected] and I'll show you my before and afters.

I've had twins and needed lots of muscle tightening, but still had little pain from my TT. I took my pain meds faithfully on time for the first week, and was just fine. (Get lots of fiber though... the resulting constipation from the meds was the worst part of the whole experiance!) I was really nervous as I had heard lots of horror stories, but it wasn't bad at all (and I had the full LBL and a breast lift on top of it!)
