I was approved by Aetna after one appeal this past June. (surgery was in

I started my consult in march 2004, had one call back, they needed
documented history of my weight from my primary care physician, and was
approved and had my surgery on june 15, 2004, have any questions email me

Yes I was approved with my first letter my surgery was 9/9 I had no
problem, I also met all the crietia...

I was just approved with Aetna HMO after two years of working on it. I
ended up doing Weight Watchers for six months, and seeing my PCP everymonth
to document that. It was a pain, but I am scheduled for December 13th.
