Yeah...I have had several vitamin deficiencies and anemia that started as far as I know at year 4 ish Post Op...I am 5 years post Op right now and due for labs when i can find some time from a hectic schedule at the moment...It took me 6 months to get myself back in balance and I am hoping that I am still doing well...I am exhausted...but again I am quite busy so I'm not sure if it's my schedule or vitamin or thyroid troubles again... Here is a link to an OH paper that i found recently and thought it was quite a thorough paper to save...Go to page 11 and 12 for the general problems with each specific vitamin deficiency...Hope that helps http://tricitywls.com/Digestion.pdf

Yes, I have heard of people having iron deficiencies and having to actually have iv iron infusions every 3 months. I also have heard of people have B and D deficiencies. The best thing is to eat high protein, take your bariatric vitamins, and try to make sure everything you put in your mouth is nutritious, high quality food.
