I am so sorry to hear that and understand your disappointment. We get so caught up and excited about our date when we get it finally, and for something to interfere with that is devastating. Hang in there, feel better soon and remember the 19th is only 15 days away. I know that isn't much of a consolation, it's all I have to offer. God bless... don't eat 2 chocolate chip cookies, but you can call in the morning. Best of luck, Dawn Vickers, RN, BLC, CLC.

I had no voice the day of surgery and went anyway. There was an ent there &he said it was post nasal drip. I know it is disappointing but your next date is around the corner! Atleast they booked you soon. Don't worry before you know it, it will be time to go. Use the time to get psyched. Shop for foods you will need/like after. Good luck

Aww...that's not too bad! Two weeks will be here before you know it! And you will be healthy enough to heal properly without your body trying fight off the flu and heal at the same time from surgery!! This is best for your own good! So the countdown begins again...But you'll get there! Good luck and get well!

That is the best thing. It's only 2 weeks and you'll have a safer surgery. It would have been too risky to do surgery while you're sick.

the same thing happened to me on Monday--but i just had a sore throat (it turned into sinus infection the next day). I was really disappointed then felt very glad that docs did the right thing. Felt safe--and now know what to expect for the next time--3/16.
