Question:
SIX MONTHS OUT FROM SURGERY...DID ANYONE ELSE FEEL LIKE THEY HAD A PUFFY POUCH ?

Sounds weird I know, but it is like you can see where my stomache is, and then the loose skin lays under it. Did anyone else experience this? I remember the Dr. saying that my tummy is starting to pouch and he will fix that by removing the skin. SHOULD I BE WORRIED...constipated sometimes but I do not drink water enough lately. I have gone from 278 to 163 so losing fast, body changing fast, husband deploying, just do not want to be sick with kids alone. THANKS for any help you can give me!!    — Kathleen L. I have the same problem and you can help it by increasing your water inake. I know I get tired of hearing this but it is true. I am 22 months out from mine and my body has adjusted, although I still get the pouch if I get gas bad, wg=hich is whenever I eat wrong. Hang in there it sounds like you are doing great....

Hi Kathleen, thanks for writing. Congratulations on your weight loss, you have done very well! I am sort of confused by what you are saying. Are you saying that you are sick? You have to ask your doctor about your tummy beginning to "pouch". I don't quite understand what that means. My pouch never stuck out, my midrift area still has plenty of skin/fat, even at 130 to cover my stomach. I am really writing to tell you about Miralax. If you have constipation, this will help you. It is a laxative you can get at pharmacys or wal mart. It is a powder that I use. It is NON habit forming and works well, you can use it every day if you need to. I use only a HALF dose, as a full dose gave me a lot of gas, but it works very well. If you struggle with constipation, this can help that out. You can also get it by perscription, but if you don't want a script, then just buy the miralax brand at a pharmacy. It is also tasteless. I stir it in juice and it works very well. No funky taste, and it does not thicken. Take care. Patricia P.
