Question:
If you had a tt through porstmouth naval did you have to pay any out of pocket?

I'm curious on how much out of pocket cost is. Have you also heard if they do breast lift?    — Barbara M. (posted on June 28, 2004)

I had a consult with a PS at PNH. They are doing procedures 'at cost' meaning whatever it costs them. They want their payment up front. I had a consult for a TT and it was going to cost under $3000, which they said was 1/2 to 1/3 of the cost with a civilian PS. However, I have seen a civ. PS, and I was much more comfortable with how he explained his technique compared to how the doc at PNH explained his. To me, it is worth it to pay 3 times the amount to get the result that I want. But it was the specific procedure with a specific doctor. I would definitely get that referral from your PC, to see the PS, and they can tell you. But it is also something that they are doing 'at this time' and may not be offered on a long term basis. Let me know what they say!
