Question:
protein intake

a week ago I discovered that I actually can eat cans of tuna and chicken and it's really high in protein. By my thinking if I can eat 4 cans of either one or both I'll get at least 100 g od protein which i've been told is good for me. Does anyone ahave any comments? Oh yeah I had lap band 2.5 years ago and i've lost around 170 with about 20 or 30 pounds to go but for the last few months I have no desire to eat anything and my weight loss have stopped but in the last week of trying to eat this way I feel better.    — leekenny (posted on January 21, 2007)

WoW! congratulations on your great loss! Protien is one off the main things we are suposed to eat and then veggies. And of course tons of water. I think if you can eat that much tuna that is great. I like chicken so I would try that. It has been hard for me to get in all the protien I need and I'm told that you need protien to break down the fat so maybe it will start your loss again for that last few pounds. Good luck!

hi yes but what i know is that yo should do tuna only like once a week because of mercury content.
