call your surgeon and you must exercise and get back to basics. should be checked for mechanical troubles like staple line disruption. most regain some but its important to minimize it

Jesica - what do you feel is behind the weight gain? Have you been going through a stressful or emotional time and may be resorting back to emotional eating? It would be really helpful to everyone to understand better what's going on - both to offer better advice, and to help us look internally as well.

Hi I had a baby a year before you and one year after my bypass. I am now 4 years preop and having the same problems. I have just started to lose again. You have to watch out for those carbs they tell you to eat during pregnancy they help then but they can really be a problem later. Go back to the beginning. fluids small plates NO CARBS AT ALL. I hate to tell you but you have to exercise baby fat needs help to tone muscles. You can write to me it helps to know your not alone but the good news is it is fixable. Good Luck Anna

Hi Jesica, thanks for writing. Congratulations on your new baby. Losing baby weight or weight after babies is always tough, but the routine stays the same. Diet, exercise, water. Go back to basics, get tough with yourself and decide what is most important and cling to it. The decision is yours, and so is the consequence of that decision. Take care. Patricia P.

Do you know if you were transected or not?

my guess is that you have had some change to your metabolism, brought on by pregnancy, or just a thing over time... if you're not eating more, then you probably need to start exercising or eat less/healthier. i'd also suggest getting your thyroid checked.
