Does any one know what kaiser health coverage for the lap band procedure is?

Depends where you live and what level of insurance you have. In San Diego,
Kaiser does not have a contract with a service provider to do lapband yet,
but they are very good about paying for other types of WLS. In other parts
of the state, Kaiser has been covering lapband.

Dec 2009: Northern Cal Kaiser program includes LapBand, VSG, and RNY.
Other procedures require use of the grievance procedures for approval.
