Question:
Two part question about a hernia and finding a doctor HELP PLEASE!!!!

First I am a long term post op...7 years and i know i have slipped and gained alot of my weight back, but i am trying to work on that but that is not my problem.... I have an incarcerated hernia (my bowel is poking through) that is making me very nauseated and my lower back is hurting... I would like to know if any one else has had back pain with a hernia on their belly button??? I would also like to know if anyone knows of a surgeon in memphis tn or southaven ms that will do a TT along with hernia removal...... Please help i know i need the hernia gone but i would like to have a second opinion with a surgeon that will hopefully take away the skin that i have on my stomach.....    — bsouthard (posted on April 3, 2008)

At our support group last month, we had a plastic surgeon talked to us about different types of surgery and one was a tummy tuck and he said they could do hernia repair when they did the tummy tuck. Try calling a plastic surgeon's office and ask or call your pcp for a referral.

ALMOST 6 YRS POST AND I JUST HAD THAT SAME HERNIA REPAIRED.
