Question:
what are some insurance's that cover the VSG

Hi there, I had my vsg 01/11 and I was told that it was recently approved at the time of my surgery and that was with blue cross anthem. A nurse for this insurance think it the safest alternative and that it would accept the vsg more often. I think most insurances are in thinking the same. I have no regrets on this surgery but I do regret my prior lap band surgery that did nada but give me unsavory results. I wish you luck.

I had my VSG on July 13th and my insurance was United Healthcare (originally Pacificare) but United bought my insurance. Good luck to you. :)

I think most companies cover WLS now. Those who are getting denied are because their employer has selected a benefit plan that does not cover WLS and has nothing to to with the actual insurance companies.
