DId you have a DS or RNY? There is no way I would be able to get in a whole yogurt quickly (like preop) but if spread of 20 minutes I think it is probably okay. I'm not even sure I could eat a whole thing now - almost 6 weeks postop. If you had the DS, that makes it a different story, and is probably just fine. Actually, yogurt shouldn't count toward your water at all. I think you should keep sipping your water, and you seem to be right on track for a one-weeker. It will get easier.

I ate a whole container of yogurt at that point. I still eat yogurt daily, as it is a good source of proteing for me, plus I really like it. It is going right through your new stomach, so don't worry about it.

Soft foods like yogurt are much easier to eat at your stage, and you will be able to eat more of them than if you tried solid food (not recommended at this point!). As for the amount of liquids you are getting in, I think that's pretty good for only a week out -- just keep trying. Good luck!

I AM 13 DAYS POST OP TODAY, AND I TOO CAN EAT A WHOLE CONTAINER OF YOGURT. I FEEL FULL, BUT NOT STUFFED. I AM LOSING FINE, SO I SUPPOSE THIS IS OK. IF YOU FIND OUT DIFFERENTLY, PLEASE LET ME KNOW TOO.
