Question:
Has anyone been denied WLS do to 1 or more surgerys in the past?

IS THERE SOMEONE IN OHIO WHO WILL DO WLS SURGERY ON SOMEONE LIKE ME.MY WLS SURGERY WERE DONE ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO I HAD A APPT. SET WITH BTC OF OHIO AND WHEN I TOLD THEN OF MY PAST SURGERY THE OFFICE GIRL TOLD ME THAT THERE SURGERON WOULD NOT TOUCH ME WITH A 10 FOOT POLE.I CRIED MYSELF TO SLEEP THAT NIGHT.THE ONLY REASON TO MUCH SCAR TISSUE.I FILL LIKE I HAVE BEEN CAST TO THE SIDE TO JUST DIE NO HOPE OR HELP FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME BUT I WON'T GIVE UP WITHOUT A FIGHT CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.I WANT THE NEW SURGERY DONE.    — [Anonymous] (posted on May 2, 2001)

My surgeon in Ohio does revisions and just did surgery on my hubby who has had many, many abdominal surgeries with adhesions. Don't give up. Check out Dr. Allison Cleary and Dr. David Bruce in Dayton, OH. Good luck!

My surgeon is Dr. David Fallang in Middletown,Ohio. He is a kind and compassionate surgeon. I KNOW that he has done revisions and is willing to take on more "riskier" patients because he is extremely dedicated to treating the morbidly obese. He is not just in this to pad his statistics or his wallet. I am not sure how someone over the phone could "diagnose" your scar tissue. Dr Schauer in pittsburgh may be close depending on where in ohio you are. In any case I am sure you will find someone, keep the faith and select a good surgeon.
