Question:
Does anyone know of any Spandex Mid Length Underware for men?

I have searched the interent for a source of Spandex Undergarments for men to use until I can have the excess skin removed from my waist. It just hangs around my middle below my waist line. Because of the skin, my wiast is 5" smaller than my hips. I only found one site in France, and I can not read their information.    — William (Bill) wmil (posted on March 12, 2008)

I can't help you with finding an English site for spandex products...but I CAN tell you that AltaVista's Babel Fish website(google it) will translate from French into readable English for you. I use it to communicate with overseas vendors all the time as part of my job. It doesn't make a 'pretty' translation, but allows for communication. Good luck!

I posed this question last week, either to this or another forum. No answers. I thinik there were a couple on Ebay, but they wante $65 and $97 each. I have a similar problem, and I can now wear jeans. But they seemed uncomfortable as the typical waistband would cut into the mid section. I found an alternative to this problem, although unconventional. I did an Ebay venture last year, and obtained a large quantitiy of women's Route 66 Stretch Boot Cut jeans, 3/4 rise. The 3/4 rise is my "secret", as the waist band comes 3 or so below the navel. This allows the excess lose skin to be comfortable. The sized I got were 22L, 20L, 18L, and 16L. I'm 6'3" and weigh 203 and fit very comfortable in the 18L size. Pants do not look "girly" either, just like jeans. Before the jokes start, I'm not a cross dresser either. Just being resourseful in finding something comfortable to wear that was affordble. I still have dozens of these jeans here. Anyone interested can PM about them, at $7 each, plus $11 flat rate box and shipping. Up to 4 pair can go in one box.

I also don't know any sites in English but you can also just go to google and to right of search box is a place to click on "language tools" which takes you to a page where you can put in url address and it will translate the French page to English.

I think the cheapiest and easiest way is to try finding some spandex bicycle pants that way you will have the support for your thighs to. Check out the big and tall men magazine, or just google spandex biker shorts.

My hubby likes compression shorts and bicycle shorts for jogging and working out (he's trying to hide his gut too!)...They are hard to find all the time so we order them...We find them at sporting goods type stores....but they are so overpriced. Try here for some ideas or styles and prices... http://www.nextag.com/compression-shorts-men/search-html

Why not just look in women's shops or areas of large store's like Sears instead? Who's going to know the difference? Believe me, the sales personnel won't care that a man is purchasing women's underwear. They'll be more than happy to collect all the cash you are willing to part with.
