Question:
WILL MY SEX DRIVE RETURN ?

I'VE HAD SUGAR DIABETES AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE FOR ABOUT 5YRS. THAT I KNOW OF AND MY SEX DRIVE HAS BEEN IN THE BASEMENT. MY WIFE AND I HAVE SUFFERED GREATLY BECAUSE OF THIS. I'M DO TO HAVE RNY PROCEDURE ON: DEC.4,O3 WILL MY LIBIDO RETURN SINCE I'LL BE OFF ALL THOSE DAMN MEDS. I WAIT ANY OF THOSE WHO HAVE HAD MY EXPERIENCES. Talk to your doctor about taking Testosterone shots or wear a Testosterone patch. My husband always was low on Testosterone. Many obese men are. Your meds may have an impact on your libido. My husband has had the surgery and his sex drive is thru the roof but does go thru periods where he is in a funk and then he has blood work done and then it shows the testosterone levels are off. Have yours checked!

Ray: Well, you're a man, and I'm not...so I'll answer your question using my own physiology as a baseline. I had an enormous sex drive BEFORE surgery. Now, 6 months later, it's non-existent. I was never on meds and still not on any. I assume that your meds and the obesity have a lot to do with sex drive. Obesity had no effect on my sex drive, only the variety of positions :) I wish you luck Ray...
