Question:
Lap-Band Question...

I was curious what does it feel like when the band slips. I was told I would know. Is it a little painful? A Lot Painful? Or does it just feel like there is no band at all? Tina    — TinaHallock (posted on March 7, 2008)

Well, since I was just diagnosed with one, I have a little insight! For me, I just experienced sudden very tight restriction (difficult to even drink liquids) accompanied by mid-chest pain that would get more uncomfortable when I laid down. That said, not all slips manifest the same way. Most of the time a slip will increase your feeling of restriction, not decrease it.

what can you do if it does slip??

My band is slipped, just as said the tightness when laying down, unability to get any amount of fill in my band for me. any fill i would be puking water...i have had my band slipped for 7 months now, gained weight have problems eating certain good( the good ones) but i am having a revision on APril 1st. You need an UGI to determine if this is what it is....GOod Luck
