You'll find it is very EASY to eat properly on a cruise - lots of protein choices. You will also find it is very easy to eat crap on a cruise - lots of choices. Just keep your goals in mind. Eat your clean lean protein first, healthy carbs second. Since you aren't paying for the food if you find you want just a bite of something take that bite and have the plate cleared away.

Eat all protein? LOL No seriously...they have endless buffets of foods (usually)...Do a search for what foods provide protein and make sure to eat those things! Bring some protein with you, either powder or ready made if you are really worried....But fish is really easy and a soft, lean, good choice...chew your food well...watch the sugar and simple carbs...Also watch some of those sauces (ie: barbeque and sweet and sour type stuff)...they are loaded with sugar and make me dump! If you swell up from some foods...it could be msg...so stay away from that stuff if you can! It makes my feet and ankles and face swell up! Never used to bother me...BUT...You'll be FINE! You are far enough out to eat a regular small meal...My only suggestion is when at buffets...choose your food wisely and only plan on taking what you will eat...DO NOT go back for seconds and do not take more than what you would normally eat...If it looks like too much...IT IS! YOU DO NOT have to finish your food! ;) Careful with grazing too...Don't pick unless it's a planned snack or meal time! Just suggestions! Good luck and have a great time!

Cruise Ships always have lots of protein like fish. Pack some bullets with you. You can down those quick if your in a hurry. You can even take your protein powder with you. Ask to see if chef if they can mix it up for you at your meals. Ask them to make sugar free meals with your protein powder. They can be very nice because you have diet restrictions. Maybe they can make a fancy desert out of your powder. Give it a try. Good Luck and have fun I your cruise. I ago on alot of cruises and find like Norweagian Cruise will make anything special for me.

I went on a cruise for my honeymoon and lost 4 lbs that week. Most cruise lines offer food 24/7 so you can eat whenever you need to. It is up to you after all, to control your portions, how much you eat and, how often. Make wise choices and you'll be just fine. They have a great sellection of lean meats and seafood, as well as cheese and veggies. They have everything under the sun available and they will be more than happy to acomodate whatever dietary needs you have. Good luck and have fun.
